By the way, I love stripes, I don't care if anyone says they're unflattering. They can kindly kiss where the sun don't shine. :) Sorry if the angles are weird, boyfriend took them while he was on the floor... the room's also kind of messy because he's FINALLY installing our new desk and chair set!

Oh, and the pants? You might remember me talking about them here. There's also a link to the store in that post! The pants are super comfy, fit like skinnies and they have back pockets! The only thing I'm kind of disappointed with was the waistband is really a flashy silver colour so I can't use tucked in styles. It's alright, I think when I get paid I'll buy the ASOS curve black skinnies for only $16. Soo... yeah.
It's so funny when you run a fashion blog and you list all your items you bought. A lot of my stuff comes from Zara and I never really noticed it until now.
On another note, I went to a new thrift store today because I was curious. Oh my, is it ever bargain heaven! The prices are consistently about a dollar to three dollars. I saw this wonderful pink dress with floaty kimono-like sleeves and it just looked so girly, so me. I don't know why I didn't buy it, but it was only $3.
Now I'm agonizing over it and my boyfriend is like, "Okay, we'll come back on Monday!" It's a religious-type of thrift store so it's closed on Sundays. So I hope it'll still be there before someone else snatches it. There's also this wonderful white dress I saw for 3 dollars as well and it was a size 16. The store was going to close in 5 minutes so I couldn't. There were so many shoes, too! Ugh. I have to go back, LOL. Now that I have a job to support my spending habits it doesn't hurt either.
Anyway, my thoughts on this post? Huh. I'm not really the girl to dress in "tough" girl kind of clothing, I'm not sure if it's me... haha!
i think you look great but ur right... the smile on ur face isn't the same as when ur wearing something very feminine (i.e. skirts/dresses/florals/pastels) but its nice to know that u can go all dark and Parisian if u ever needed to ;)

I'm like you, I never wear a full black outfit, I feel so boring without colour but I think the stripes are good in this way, they add a little bit of interest to the outfit. Cute blog.
