187.

This outfit is cozy. It's not the tights or anything, it's probably my fisherman's sweater which gives it the "coziness" factor. With autumn approaching, it's getting cold and now I whip out the knits! I'm not ready to give up shorts just because of the cold weather.

Are any of you transitioning your "summer" clothing into the fall? Do you even believe in transitioning clothing from season to season? Or do you tuck your clothes away?

I'd love to hear what you guys think!

  1. I tend to use items year round. I like to layer my skirts with tights, and my summer tops with warm and comfortable cardigans and sweaters. I like things that I can use year-round, in part because it's easier to justify buying slightly more expensive items that way. =)

The only thing that gets put away during the spring and summer: my boots. I'm so happy it's almost time to pull them out again!

  2. The cozy sweater paired with shorts is such a cute idea. :)
Given that I live in Hawaii, we don't do much transitioning. However, I'm looking forward to taking out my long-sleeve buttondowns and tops for winter (or what we call winter here). :)

  3. I just did a post that had pullover sweaters in it. Can I use your photos in a new one? I'm plus size but a bit nervous about pullover sweaters because of how top-heavy they make me look.

  4. Chic, cozy outfit! I like your bag. I put away my shorts, my legs get easily cold so I need pants lol. Do you mind if I ask where you got your eyeglasses? ^^

  5. over in australia I am welcoming back spring after a long cold winter. During winter I went to the states for 3 weeks and I brought some lovely summer clothes only to have to put them away because it was too cold when I returned home...so ready to whip em out as soon as the sun shines (and its not so freaking cold!)  I will only put away my summer and spring clothes when its too cold for me to wear them...if I could, I would wear it all year round!

  9. I never transition.  I like to wear all my clothes year around with a couple of exceptions of course.  I work with the seasons so I will wear walking short in the winter with tights and knee high boots.

  12. I just found you through lookbook, and wow I love your style. I'm a bigger girl too, and your style is what I want. I've been so afraid to dress like that because I've been afraid of what people will think/say, but you've inspired me to just go for it. Your style is better than alot of people (big or thin). I haven't stopped going through your pages. I'm sure you've gotten messages like this before but I just had to tell you. You've become my new style inspiration! :D
