Thanks to everyone on Twitter for sending kind thoughts about my brother. For those out of the loop, he was in the E.R. but he's okay now and he's doing well. Me on the other hand, I have caught a cold bug but that didn't stop me from going out to take pictures, lol. I went to do some errands but yeah. I regret it now sort of because I am a sniffling mess, haha.
I don't give this dress enough love. It's one of my favourites because the fabric is so comfortable, and it just looks "sweet", don't you think?

In other news, I love my pug... even though she looks sad. Haha.
Oh. I don't give my hair enough love too... I always burn it with heating products. Today I curled it so it looked wavy (even though I have naturally curly hair, lol.) instead of straightening because I find straightening hair makes my hair look greasy when I don't wash it!
I want to know... what are some hair techniques that you people know of that's "lazy" or at least it detracts from the fact that you didn't wash your hair?! I use dry shampoo sometimes but even that doesn't seem to get rid of the heavy "greasiness" my bangs feel and look. I find curling my hair kind of removes that look -- I'm tired of doing buns and I know washing my hair every day is not very good. So any tips would be helpful. I will be here doing homework and sipping some tea. :p

ReplyDeleteI just use dry shampoo on the days when I don't wash my hair. It took me three or four tries to find one that worked well for me, though. The first few I tried just didn't do anything at all to control the oiliness of my hair.

I like to spray on some dry shampoo before I pull my bangs back to pouf it up just a little and secure it with a couple of bobby pins. After that, I spray some hairspray to keep the flyaways at bay. Depending on the grease levels (!) of my hair, I'll either let it all down or pull it back into a messy bun. My go-to hairstyle for day old hair. (:

ReplyDeleteOh I'm kinda in love with your lipstick colour! I was gonna ask if you did something to your hair...you look so beautiful! Don't ask me about hair...LOL I avoid brushing it some days... totally do the bare necessity to get by BUT I'm glad to hear that your brother is okay :)

I feel ya about the hair issue. I've had trial and error to keep my curls refreshed for days (as far as curls go) but the greasiness I guess I just deal with it. Sometimes I distract from the grease and do a fancy hair do and maybe add the dry shampoo. Other times I'd suggest throwing on a hat. (I'm guessing a hat was the lazy answer you weren't looking for?! lol)
