220. (My favourite looks from 2011)

Two days late, but better late than never! To keep it short and sweet, here's a wrap-up of my favourite outfits from 2011. It's nice to see some sort of gradual change in my style and appearance.

January



My hair was so short I could barely do a top knot with it! I have this jacket and it's still as fierce as ever.

February



I love this outfit more than words can say. It's weird, it's tacky, and it's lovely. HAHA. No shame in being tacky, ladies and gents. This image even got featured in Sociological Images to my surprise. My classmates told me that they found my picture on that website and I had to google it. Lo and behold, it's there. I'm sad because this picture is probably one of the rare instances in which the lighting was very favourable in the indoors.

March



Tacky glasses? Check. I think this whole tacky glasses addition to my wardrobe is one of the best yet, haha.

April



I love this dress but it's way too cold to wear it out right now! So I longingly admire it in my closet until I can wear it again...

I love playsuits and I can't wait until I can wear them again!

I felt so orange. I really hate orange but this is one of the few instances I loved it on me!

August marked when I was going to grow my fringe out. As you can see, I failed.

I think this outfit started my unhealthy obsession with knits.

High waist shorts 4 lyfe, yo.

November



Usually, November in Winnipeg would have snow on the ground. We were lucky enough not to have any. :D

December



My hair grew longer! I've begun to wear contacts! Haha. I didn't publish too many outfits in December - but despite this, I love this outfit. Looking at the picture reminds me that our December was not nippy at all.


New Years Stuff?



I got this lovely photo from The Nearsighted Owl. I LOVE it! It looks just like me, haha. :) I was lucky enough to be one of her subjects for her art, and I am forever grateful.

As for New Years resolution type stuff, I made some last year. One of them was to have at least one thrifted item in each outfit and I believe that was very successful. For this year, no resolutions in particular except to eat healthier (I am eating like shit lately) and to be more successful in school. Hah, pretty boring, that's pretty much my goal every time anyways. So I guess no resolutions there. :)
