It was a low key day. Oh, it's nothing unusual: taking a break from paper-writing and studying, and going on those dinner and movie dates my partner loves so much. We went to see 1000 words with Eddie Murphy. It is actually quite a funny movie, I don't remember the last time I laughed out loud at a movie. Then we went to eat sushi. Dun dun dun. (What else is new?)

The weather is warmer these days so I opted to wear something that isn't chunky knit. Let me say, I'm just so glad I can wear actual shoes again that strike my fancy without worrying about slipping on the ice and falling on my ass. It's going to be a whopping 10 C this week, and while it might not seem much, it's better than the below-zero temperatures we've been having in Winnipeg.
