275.

My, where has the time gone! Mid-October is already here - or at least almost. Where I am, the leaves have fallen and the weather has definitely become a lot nippier. It has actually snowed here the past week or so, and while I do love the autumn and the layering I am SO not ready for winter yet. Ice, snow, or sleet? No thank you.

It's this period where my body is having a hard time adjusting to the weather change so I opted for pants instead of tights and a skirt. Pants are one of my worst enemies because my mid-section is a bit bigger but my legs are smaller in comparison so everything is BAGGY. I am also too tall for petite length, but too short for regular. Tailoring clothing is so expensive, but luckily I have my mom to do it for me. These black jeans I have had from ASOS for quite a while, but because of the fit I could not wear it. I actually have to get them tailored again because they stretched while wearing and the legs are still too baggy for me - doesn't fit like a skinny jean at all. I've tried every skinny jean I can get affordably on the market right now, but it's always this same annoying dilemma.  Do you have the same problem? Which brand of skinny jeans do you recommend?

Hopefully I can post more outfits. I wish I could catch up on more blogs and comment, but I have never anticipated that I would be this busy. :( I love blogging and commenting + looking at other looks, it's just sad I can't do it as much as I'd like to.

Until next time,

Gazel

    1. Ugh! I totally would try Torrid if their shipping wasn't ridiculous (and cost as much as a pair of pants!) I've heard good things about their Stiletto jeans.

      Thanks Erin <3

  2. Love it! I'm in love with all your cardigans! For me its my legs that are too tight and the waist is too big but i just tailor them to get a proper fit. I owe my life to my sewing machine!

  3. I don't know if you have an Old Navy in Canada, but their black jeggings have become my favorite. They do start to get baggy around the waist and thighs after repeated use, so I would suggest getting one or two sizes down.

  4. I find Dorothy Perkins skinnies amazing! They're £25, stretch to fit your shape (& they shrink back!), high waisted enough that you don't flash anyone and a gorgeous deep colour. I've always had trouble with jeans as my ankles are skinny compared to the rest of my legs but I love these so much!

  5. I'm also an apple with a not-petit but not-regular height issue. I have good luck with Old Navy's jeans thank goodness. They're basically all I wear aside from a couple of pairs of colorful skinnies from Kohls.

  7. You've gotten snow already? Oh boy! I know there are a couple states here in the US that had snow, but luckily it went back to fall right away. haha

You look fab in this outfit. It's got kind of a cool girly preppy thing going on.
I wish I could help with the pants problem but I've got the opposite sort of shape and with a recent weight loss, pants fit horribly. I'm just sticking to skirts for now!
