So, I'm back. I'm back and I hope I'm here to stay for the most part. It's hard to dress too fashionably as of late when snow is piling up more than ever. Just this past weekend we had a blizzard in Winnipeg. Centimetres after centimetres of SNOW. It was unbelievable because just last year it was +21C around this time at March. In fact, last year, when we had a protest at school there was no snow on the ground and it was mild enough to go without a jacket. Winnipeg is very unpredictable regarding the weather.

So yesterday, some fabulous women and I had a clothing swap at the University of Winnipeg. I donated a LOT of stuff, like... two rubbermaid bins full of stuff. A lot of it went to a good home, and I'm glad. The other ladies brought in fabulous clothing as well. My professor stopped by and donated a bunch of designer stuff, like Marc Jacobs scarf and sandal wedges (alas, did not fit my 'small' feet) ... and I managed to get this skirt I'm wearing. This red pleated skirt, my professor said, she bought it because she wanted to emulate my style -- apparently red skirts with pleats remind her of me! She gave it to me and I was ecstatic for two reasons: 1) It's freaking adorable, 2) ITS A SIZE LARGE ON THE LABEL AND IT FITS MY FAT ASS!
So yeah. That's my entry for now. I have to read some Judith Butler for tomorrow and afterwards I'm going to play Sim City 5. Until next time everyone.
It is so great to hear from you!! You have been missed and I'm so glad to hear you're back! You're gorgeous and I love that skirt!!
